Dear Friends,
We hope this message finds you in the best of health and spirits. The last three months have been a challenging and unprecedented time for all of us. Our hearts and prayers go out to all those affected by COVID-19.
As restrictions start to lift in Ontario, we want to ensure you that we will continue to be here for our patients. If you or any members of your family or your friends need our services we will always be available at our conveniently located office at Hurontario and Highway 403.
Our practice is taking extra steps to ensure the safety of patients. See below for some of our added protocols. Please don’t hesitate to reach out should you need anything. We are always here for you.
For Every Team Member
All of our team members have been fit tested with N95 masks and will be wearing surgical caps, gowns and face shields. We screen daily for COVID-19 symptoms and mandate a 14-day quarantine as needed. In addition, we ensure appropriate personal protective equipment for all of our staff.
For Every Patient
We screen in advance AND at point of contact for COVID-19 symptoms including a temperature check and a pulse oximeter reading. Although we ask all patients to bring their own protective face mask to their office visit, one will be provided for you if you don’t. We also provide protective booties, a molecular iodine pre-rinse and hand sanitizers.
In Every Operatory
We have hospital grade air-purifiers, Jade Surgically Clean Air Units, in every operatory which use HEPA filtration and UV light.
Between patient visits, we disinfect rooms and surfaces in our operatories. Foggers are being utilized to sterilize the rooms with Vitalaire.
In the Reception Area
We continually disinfect all surfaces and provide hand sanitizer to both staff and patients. We have also put in place physical barriers between patients and our treatment coordinators at all of our front desk stations. A minimum of twice daily, we clean all floors, and high touch areas to ensure all areas are disinfected and fully sanitized.
We have HEPA filtration units throughout the office including every operatory to aid in the removal of airborne particulate for the safety of our patients and our team.
